Introduction
The IUMRS International Conference on advanced Materials (IUMRS-ICAM) is one of the most important serial conferences of the International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS) and is organized by the adhering bodies of IUMRS by application and competition. IUMRS-ICAM provides the opportunity for scientists, engineers, and students from the world to exchange their recent achievements on the research and development of materials science and engineering. C-MRS successfully organized 5th IUMRS-ICAM inBeijing, June, 1999.
IUMRS-ICAM2013 will be organized by C-MRS and held inQingdao,Chinafrom Sept. 22 to 28,
2013. IUMRS-ICAM 2013 will have 37 symposia covering five fields as follows：

E. Materials Processing and Genomic Engineering
An exhibition on Advanced Materials, Manufacturing and Testing Equipments will be held simultaneously with the conference.
