Integrative Oncology: Advancing the Science & Art of Integrative Oncology
On Saturday, October 19 through Monday, October 21, 2019, the Society for Integrative Oncology's 16th International Conference presents an exceptional opportunity to learn about new findings in integrative oncology from healthcare/scientific disciplines that have the potential to transform cancer care internationally. The conference, co-hosted this year by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, will take place at the New York Hilton Midtown, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10019. It focuses on the theme of Advancing the Science & Art of Integrative Oncology.

The conference includes keynote presentations from Lee Jones, PhD; Dawn Hershman, MD, MS; Michael W. Young, PhD; and Jamie H. Von Roenn, MD, FASCO.

Plenary presentations will feature sessions on Lifestyle, Microbiome, and Sleep. Concurrent sessions, including 11 unique workshops and oral abstracts, will highlight the latest clinical, research, and methodological issues, and offer the opportunity to experience integrative modalities. Workshop topics include: Sleeping Well After Cancer, Supporting Cognitive Health, Dance Therapy, FDA Regulatory Process, Advocacy for Integrative Oncology Science, Training for Healthcare Providers, Research Highlights, Applied Mind-Body Medicine, Intermittent Fasting or Caloric Restriction, and Realistic Hope. There will also be dedicated time for networking and socializing, including breakfast roundtable sessions and a poster reception.

At SIO2019 Memorial Sloan Kettering's Integrative Service 20th Anniversary Celebration: On Sunday, October 20, 2019, 5:00 - 7:00 pm, join SIO in the Trianon Ballroom of the Hilton Midtown to celebrate MSK's Integrative Medicine Service's 20th anniversary. Come enjoy hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, and a beverage before you go out for dinner in the Big Apple, or to take in a show. Ticket price is $25. Open to all.
