We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 29th RGD (Rarefied Gas Dynamics) symposium which will be held in Xi'an of China, a city full of Chinese culture and history.
The symposium deals with the properties and flows of rarefied gases and plasmas. The interdisciplinary character of the symposium collects researchers from different fields including mathematics, physics, chemistry, fluid dynamics, and aerospace sciences, covering fundamental as well as applied aspects. This will be the 29th edition of a prestigious series of International Symposia which started in 1958 and have become the main forum for researchers, developers, managers, scholars, and students in the RGD field.
Xi'an is recognized as one of the most important cities in China, both historically and currently. It was called Chang'an in ancient times, and has been the capital region for over 1200 years. Xi'an, now the capital of Shanxi province in northwest China, has attracting tourists from everywhere in the world. So plan to bring your families and make your visit unforgettable.
