Thanks to China’s 29th Antarctica Expedition led by State Oceanic Administration, the first observational data set achieved by the first Antarctic Survey Telescope (AST3-1) at Dome A, Antarctica, was brought back to ChineseCenter for Antarctic Astronomy.
We are planning to hold an international collaboration meeting in Nanjing from June 5 - 8 of 2014. The meeting will cover the following topics:
1) AST3: a) Mohe test results, b) 2014/2015 traverse plan, c) AST3-3 NIR science and progress, d) AST3 and ASKAP surveys of transients;
2) KDUST: a) Progress report - engineering, and sciences, b) Progress report - international collaborations;
3) Future opportunities and collaborations: a) EU 2020 vision, b) z Equals 20 from Antarctica (zETA).
