由中科院上海光机所主办的 5th International Symposium on Filamentation (COFIL 2014) 将于 2014 年 9 月 18-24 日在上海举行，该会议每两年举行一次，前四届分别在魁北克（加拿大）、巴黎（法国）、克里特岛（希腊）和图森（美国）举行。
会议主要议题：
1.成丝的理论进展。
2.自聚焦和坍塌效应。
3.不同介质中的成丝现象。
4.脉冲自压缩。
5.成丝裁剪（或切割）。
6.（成丝过程中的）分子排列重组。
7.基于光丝的 THz 科学。
8.在交叉学科领域中的应用。
此次会议为国内外从事该领域的专家、学者等科研人员进行学术交流提供了卓越的沟通平台。诚邀相关企业单位个人踊跃报名参会。
On behalf of the 5th International Symposium on Filamentation (COFIL 2014), it is our great pleasure to invite you to attend COFIL 2014, which will be held on September 18-24, 2014 in Shanghai, China. We are looking forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues both from abroad and China.
COFIL 2014 aims at bringing together of scientists working in the field of femtosecond laser filamentation in transparent optical media and applications, as well as scientists from other fields interested in this research field to discuss present status and future perspectives.
