由冷泉港亚洲主办的“2014年冷泉港亚洲会议：关于基因调控和基因组编辑的系统生物学”将于2014年9月9日-12日在苏州独墅湖会议酒店举行。

会议介绍：

We are pleased to announce Cold Spring Harbor Asia conference on Systems Biology of Gene Regulation and Genome Editing which will be held in Suzhou, China, located approximately 60 miles west of Shanghai. The conference will begin at 7:00pm on the evening of Tuesday September 9, and will conclude after lunch on September 12, 2014.

The conference will include eight oral sessions and one poster session covering the latest findings across many topics in system biology. Many talks will be selected from the openly submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance. Social events throughout the conference provide ample opportunity for informal interactions.

Gene regulation and genome editing are major topics currently in biology. The first is being increasingly appreciated as a fundamental mechanism contributing to organismal complexity. The second continues to serve as a critical tool for engineering genomes to functionally determine the phenotypic importance of any given sequence when it is altered. In this meeting, major focus will be placed on presentations covering gene regulation and genome editing with applications in cancer, epigenetics, organismal development, and synthetic & computational biology.
