「一带一路」规划旨在为区内带来显著增长及新基础设施﹣﹣澳门需要怎样的基础设施才可成为世界旅游休闲目的地？商界在过程中将扮演甚么角色？国际商界又将扮演甚么角色？
10年后，当「一带一路」规划发挥作用时，与会者认为澳门将变成怎样？有新机场、主要体育场馆、主要歌剧院或变成一个更多元化的娱乐环境？

文化是旅游的灵魂，旅游是文化的载体，从古至今密不可分。自古就有李白，杜甫等伟大诗人周游作诗的典故。文化关系着旅游产品的竞争力。文化旅游不是文化和旅游的单纯相加，而是一种全新的模式在产生，旅游系吃，住，行，游，购，娱等因素，其实就是各种文化的组成。
会议嘉宾尝试以不同角度寻求相关答案，解释文化的重要性。这是推动全球旅游业的重要因素，但澳门及亚洲又有甚么旅游元素？它们的目标群是本地人、区域访客，还是国际游客？
本场会议详细说明文化旅游规划应采取的方向，以及勾勒出澳门未来五至十年的文化愿景和如何达到相关目标。
